Construction
The customer is one of the largest and most respected Restoration Services organizations in Canada. Their growth demanded more efficient technology be implemented corporate wide. The sheer volume of business required reliable and integrated systems providing confidence and information on demand. 24 hour support was also a pre-requisite.
Express selected Microsoft as the operating platform. A number of Microsoft network servers were implemented along with Microsoft's Exchange Server collaborative messaging and groupware product and Microsoft SQL, their enterprise database application. The implementation connected 70 of their staff with PC's, contact management software, Microsoft Outlook, and various business applications. Additionally, digital cameras were deployed along with laptops to mobile personnel. The result? Workflow processes were defined; workload handling efficiencies were improved; interoffice communications were vastly enhanced; and project scheduling was computerized. The company operates today with a minimal amount of support provided by Express network engineers and support technicians.
