Express Computers Hosting “Free Service Day”
South Surrey , BC - August 17, 2005 - Express Computer Service Center Inc. will be holding a "Free Service Day" event on Saturday, August 20, 2005. This is a fundraising event for the benefit of the Peace Arch Community services - Food Bank. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $1000.
Free Service Day means Express Computers – Consumer Services will be offering any computer services that you choose from our service menu for FREE. Even if your PC is not having any problems, you can just bring it in for preventive maintenance work. Our staff will also be on hand to answer any technical questions and provide advice. We are asking customers to make a monetary donation to the food bank. If you don't own a computer you can just drop by for hotdog and pop. All proceeds go to Peace Arch Community Service Food Bank.
Peace Arch Community Services Food bank is currently providing food and related services to approximately 500 people every week. Last year PACS Food Bank served 1671 people, 1/3 of those were children (596). Visit Express Computers on August 20th and make a difference by donating to the PACS Food Bank.
The PACS Food Bank – in operation for 22 years, is entirely funded by community donations. Peace Arch Community Services is a community-based non-profit organization which, since 1978, has been providing a wide range of services to individuals and groups in White Rock and Surrey area.
