Express announces LCS, Loss Control Service for the Insurance Claims marketplace
After developing and testing the application of its 911 emergency response services with various insurance adjusters, Express today formally announces the LCS Loss Control Service program for British Columbia’s insurance marketplace.
LCS helps insurance adjusters handle cases where computers and information technology is involved. When it comes to computer hardware, adjusters will often hand over control of the loss to the insured. Quite often what happens is certain items are replaced that didn’t need to be replaced such as software licenses. Having a trained eye on the case will identify these areas before a payout occurs. Savings of 55% have been recorded as a result of using Express for these types of files.
Fire, flood, theft, and vandalism can triggers the insured’s loss of business coverage. Loss of data could be considered the most imperative factor when it comes to resuming business operations. The faster the insured can get up and running, the lower the payout. Express has proven it can respond by giving adjusters a true 24x7 emergency service with one number to call. Express is carrying a wide array of rental and loaner equipment for just such instances.
Express has also tailored its consulting services to assist in pre-loss assessment and confirmation of coverage’s for larger commercial policies. Express offers brokers and policy retailers a secure database application that stores their clients IT related asset information for future reference purposes should a claim be made.
"LCS is really the result of us working for this market segment indirectly for over 6 years. We have a number of clients who serve the insurance claims marketplace and as we learned about their businesses and that of the insurance adjusters. We found that our business could also serve this marketplace in a very unique way. Having the domain knowledge really accelerated our entry and today we are pleased to formally announce our commitment to BC’s insurance adjusting community." says company president Darren Layton.
